The laws of acoustics tell us that we cannot create a full range driver which will satisfy all the requirements for high quality reproduction of music. Therefore, we are using two dedicated wide range drivers, each one of them capable of reproducing five octaves with high quality, even at high sound pressure levels.

We utilize 16-inch low frequency drivers with 4″ voice coils and powerful ALNICO motors. These drivers are capable of covering the bottom five octaves with high clarity and high SPL.

For the upper five octaves we chose 1″ compression drivers with pure Beryllium diaphragms and ALNICO motors.

Together with our precision analog crossover NIDA X24, the loudspeaker system NIDA Mk1 provides high quality reproduction of sound signals with very low phase and harmonic distortions even at highest sound pressure levels.
