For reproduction of high frequencies we chose a 1″ compression driver with pure Beryllium diaphragm and ALNICO motor loaded with axisymmetrical horn (AXIHORN Model CP5TB) made out of exotic hardwood. AXIHORN * has minimal internal losses and good sound dispersion. This combination has very low harmonic distortions, extremely flat and smooth frequency response, very wide dynamic range and excellent polar response, perfectly matching LF driver polar characteristics. Precision positioning of the horn provided perfect phase coherence of the system.
