For our system you can use any High-End cable but we recommend to use our cables which perfectly fit requirements of NIDA Mk1 system. The type and length of cables are individually set when an order is made.
Speaker cables have to transfer the signal to the speakers with as low distortion as possible. High quality cables are necessary to have low and constant complex impedance in full system’s operating range. Active losses are more important for low frequencies and reactive losses – for high frequencies.
In active loudspeaker systems LF and HF modules are seperated, as a result it is easier to choose right specifications for cables. High sensitivity active systems have lower compressing losses but with some adjustments in NIDA crossover we can minimize cable losses in your listening room even more.
Speaker cables NIDA have professional NEUTRIK “Speakon” connectors or highest quality WBT “Banana” and “Spade” gold-plated plugs. NIDA NLCL type cables are used to connect our low frequency modules, and NLCH – for high frequency modules.
Symmetrical interconnect cable NIDA NICXLR has NEUTRIK XLR professional connectors with metal housing and gold contacts. Asymmetric cable NIDA NICRCA has NEUTRIK-Profi RCA connectors and gold contacts. Spring loaded retractable ground contacts enables to eliminate unwanted noise and broken speaker cones when used under load. Both type of interconnect cables have perfect transmission for even smallest audio signals.
